 I figured. You are going to need to run with the Help->Debug Window open
 and hope to catch it. Either that or run 'pidgin -d' and redirect the
 output to a log file and just wait. Answers to the other questions I asked
 will also be useful.

 Does this happen while you are watching or do you only notice it after it
 has happened?
