 While I'm using pidgin to chat with msn contacts, suddenly pidgin refuses
 to send messages to certain contacts with this error:
 "Message could not be sent because a connection error occured".

 When this happens, that particular contact also cannot send messages to me
 anymore. Sending messages to other MSN contacts still works. At that time,
 Pidgin's icon in the notification area is not the one with the "Available"
 status icon, but shows an empty page with a red cross above it.

 I have to quit Pidgin to make the notification icon look normal again and
 to chat with that particular contact again.

 The bug is not new in 2.7.7, I am experiencing this for several months
 already in different pidgin versions.


 In .xsession-errors, I see a flood of this error:
 (Pidgin:2113): GStreamer-CRITICAL **: gst_poll_write_control: assertion
 'set !=NULL' failed.

 I'm using Pidgin 2.7.7 from Debian SID.
