 I installed Pidgin on my new laptop today, and every time I try to send a
 message (test) in an AIM chat room, I get this in the debug window:

 Oscar: Could not send test because (4 > maxlen 0) or (4 > maxvis 0)

 I tried using a different screenname, and got the same thing.
