 Starting Pidgin on Windows startup fails due to spaces in the registry
 entry. The system is a German Windows XP SP3, the path set in the registry
 is

 C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\xxxx\Pidgin\pidgin.exe

 Manually adding quotes around the path fixes this.
