Comment:

 After a single alt-tab, the focus reverts back to the previously active
 application.

 That is: doing alt-tab and releasing the 'tab' button when in PHP Designer
 causes the hot switch application list in Windows to appear, while also
 releasing the 'alt' button causes focus to revert back to PHP Designer.
 Only alt-tab-tab works until pidgin is exited, at which time the default
 hot switch behavior is restored.
