Comment:

 This ticket can be closed. The first set of steps I used to remove the
 IconCache weren't very complete. I found another set that removed and
 restored the cache just fine.  I realized I needed to adjust this as I had
 found some other applications that I had yet to use, that were also
 missing their icons.
