 Using pidgin 2.73 on ubuntu 10.10.
 My thinkpad T61 doesn't have a built-in webcam.
 Logged in to pidgin for google chat.

 Anyways when I DO NOT have the camera plugged in, pidgin crashes on any
 incoming call.

 When I run pidgin in debug mode I get:

 (21:19:26) mediamanager: Debug details: v4l2_calls.c(488): gst_v4l2_open
 (): /GstBin:bin3/GstV4l2Src:v4l2src0:
 system error: No such file or directory
 Segmentation fault

 I couldn't find any duplicate tickets.
 I know i can compile without the video option, but I like it!

 NOTE: I compiled 2.7.4 and the problem persists!
