 Problem: When I'm entering chinese characters with the Microsoft Pinyin
 IME, the field where I'm entering the status message disappears before I'm
 finished writing (which happens in another window), so I have to write the
 new status in short steps (2 - 3 letters), which in turn fills up the list
 of custom statii quickly with incomplete things.

 Possible fix: There should be an option in Pidgin to keep the status
 message field always visible for those using an IME to enter messages or
 for those entering a new status message without actually changing status.
