 Hi,

 I've tried the Ubuntu repo version, the Pidgin ppa version and compiling
 from source and each of these segfaults on startup.  I'm running Ubuntu
 Maverick with the Trinity KDE3 fork.  This problem only exists when using
 KDE3 - Gnome and KDE4 are fine.

 I've attached a backtrace.
