 I just had a horrible time shifting around a couple hundred contacts
 around groups.
 I probably (:croses fingers:) won't have to do it again, but I seriously
 do not wish the expirience on another human beeing.

 I would assume some new users, trying to get their contacts managed in a
 particular way, would indeed be put off by the tediousness of this job in
 Pidgin alone. (I'm talking literally hours of mind-numbing work which
 feels even that more pointless because of the (not unfounded) expectation
 that it is going to be as trivial as a right-click or two)
