 At first i was running a few plugins that came with pidgin. Following the
 instructions from the bug report FAQ, i disabled them 1 by 1. The crashes
 would occur each time for no reason even with no plugins disabled. Crashes
 occur randomly. At first i thought that they occur while i'm chatting. but
 later i proved myself wrong - It crashes even if I am away from computer.

 It took me 2 days to troubleshoot.

 I am not sure, but i think crashes started around when i updated pidgin to
 2.7.3 and also enabled my second display. I keep the pidgin window and
 conversations on that second display.

 I am using Windows 7 64bit, 4 gigs of ram, 9600GT gpu

 PC is free of viruses or other problems.
