 Hmm, I CAN reproduce with that small file.  That surprised me.  I renamed
 the file to "marktest.txt" and tried resending it and it went through with
 no problems.

 This appears to be AOL restricted transfer of the file based on the name.
 I suspect that disallow sending .com files in an effort to reduce the
 spread of viruses.  Pidgin should absolutely be changed to show a better
 error message here (although I'm not sure if we even get a usable error
 code in this case, or what error would be appropriate to show).  Aside
 from that, I kinda don't think Pidgin should do anything to attempt to
 make the transfer succeed (like using a dummy filename).
