 I connected Linux computer via Wired interface (Ethenet), instead of
 wireless connection.
 And surprise - Pidgin was able to receive message from Pidgin/Windows
 computer.
 Behavior was strange - it not popped up message window, but when I tried
 to write message from Linux to Windows, message window appeared and there
 was received text in it.

 Therefor, it seems reported problem of "not able to receive/send message"
 is somehow related to network connection/network detection.
