 In Pidgin 2.7.3, when you press Alt+Shift to switch to an RTL language, in
 my case Farsi (Persian), when you type in an IM window nothing appears,
 neither for you nor for your friend.
 In Pidgin 2.6.4, I remember that it sent <SPAN>s enclosing your text to
 the other party, now I updated to 2.7.3 and i can't even type farsi.
