 this bug still happens in pidgin 2.7.11

 i think the privacy thing should be easy to understand: ignore ANY
 requests from ppl not on my allow list. chat, add, pounces whatever req or
 thing they're trying to do, if they're NOT on my allow list or whit elist,
 just ignore, do not bother the user with them.

 i think its pretty much what all users expect from the privacy setting.

 i hope this gets fixed soon.
