 Please reopen this. This is still present in Pidgin 2.7.11
 This is some component looking for a non-existent drive. In my case,
 Windows is installed to I: and not C:

 Pidgin 2.7.11 (libpurple 2.7.11)
 GTK+ :2.16.6
 Glib:2.20.5

 I have two cases where this occurs.

 (a) On startup, this message turns up once and then goes away if you click
 Continue on the first time.

 (b) If in the middle of a IM chat session, if you RIGHT click on the
 message compose window (for eg: if you were looking for the context menu
 to paste in some text) also causes this to turn up. In this case, it take
 many many clicks of Continue to dismiss the window. I counted about 20
 clicks the last time this happened.

 I'm willing to help debug this issue. If someone could point me to a
 source to get a debugger for Windows, I'm willing to try to find the cause
 as suggested by datallah above.
