 I've installed Pidgin on about four or five different machines, mostly
 because it was removed, the operating system on one computer was changed,
 or something of the sort. I always import my accounts for Yahoo and AIM
 upon first startup, and everything works perfectly. However, on more than
 one occasion, I have received IMs from users who I blocked on either a
 different instance of Pidgin, different IM client, or both. Each time I
 first install Pidgin, I go and make sure that my blocked users are in the
 blocklists, and they are. But they still can message me.

 Once I go and block them through Pidgin's block feature, even though the
 blocklists don't change, the user will be blocked. However, to avoid
 future problems, I believe that it for cases like this, in which people
 have been able to message me even though the blocks were imported, if they
 would immediately continue to be blocked.
