 Pretty sure this is a Win7 issue.  I have 2 laptops.  Old XP with 2.7.11
 which worked fine.  Installed same version on the Win7 (x86) laptop no
 buddy icons.  My buddies don't even see my icon on their end even though I
 have it selected.  I only have MSN and no additional plugins on either
 systems.
