 From version 2.7.0 onwards Pidgin, on at least Windows XP, has forced
 antialiasing for various, yet not all, conversation fonts, defying the
 behavior of its preceding versions.

 Attached (if this checkbox doesn't fail me) are two screenshots of the
 Sans font for comparison. The first, crisp and jagged, from 2.6.6; and the
 second, anti-aliased and blurry, from 2.7.11.

 I have to assume this might be a known result of the GTK+ update to 2.16.6
 in Pidgin 2.7.0. If it is, a future toggle for font antialiasing/smoothing
 and hinting would be very welcome.
