 The alternative being that I need to explicitly manage DNS resolution
 myself. Currently Tor users operate on the assumption that SOCKS5 proxied
 applications don't leak. Needless to say anonymity seeking users will not
 be amused that who their connecting to is being leaked - defeating much of
 the purpose of the indirection.
