 When Pidgin fails to connect, it often shows an error message saying
 "Unable to connect". In some cases, this is not really helpful. Even
 searching the source code will not reveal what is causing this error
 because there are many (10 - 100) occurences of this string in the code. I
 think that these strings should be changed to something that is more
 helpful. This is more work than just changing a few strings in the source.
 In some cases, the information about what exactly has caused the
 connection error is not even known to Pidgin but only to libpurple, so
 changing this may even require API changes.
