 I'm on version 2.9.0 and that account problem is still in pidgin.  I only
 noticed it just recently around 08/04/11 and locking into yahoo works fine
 from other resources.  Logging onto yahoo's web site works just fine.
 Does Yahoo have intermittent failures in their IM server?  I am using no
 other extra plugins.
