 I've attached backported Adium libpurple patch created against 2.9.0 which
 works for me.

 This can't be applied as it is now.
 - There has to be way how to tell prpl-jabber to use DIGEST-MD5 instead of
 OAuth, because currently oauth has bigger priority than DIGEST-MD5
 - api_key/api_secret should be UI core options (like how the AIM/ICQ ones
 are now), not per-account

 If someone (winking at Darkrain) is willing to finish this job, feel
 free...
