 For all the time I've had pidgin on my windows XP eeepc laptop, it's only
 ever crashed for specific reasons (like bugs in file transfer), but ever
 since I installed Visual Studio 2010 Professional a few days ago pidgin
 has crashed randomly complaining of 'an unhandled win32 exception'. Why
 has installing Visual Studio 2010 corrupted a completely different
 program? I updated to the latest version of pidgin (twice, second time to
 get debug symbols) and it's still happening.
