#14796: finch sometimes spins CPU forever when manually IMing someone in AIM
---------------------------------+------------------------------------------
Reporter: rincebrain | Owner: sadrul
Type: defect | Status: new
Component: finch (gnt/ncurses) | Version: 2.10.0

Just as the title says - sometimes, when I am attempting to IM someone
via Options -> Send IM, literally as soon as I tab/right arrow to the
Account selection box from the freetext input of a username, it will start
burning 100% CPU and never* respond to any other input.
I have a coredump without symbols, which is rather useless for you, so
I'll attach a forced coredump (SIGABRT via kill) the next time this
occurs, as I've rebuilt with symbols.
This bug is present on both 2.7.3 (the version present in Debian stable)
and 2.10.0.
* - user left it running for hours and it did not move.
