 Yahoo official client has a new option (at least since version 11.0)
 weather to store or not all your conversation logs online (on yahoo
 servers).
 This makes your conversation logs visible in Yahoo Mail interface (the new
 one) and also as a mail folder Y! Conversations.

 One can tell the official client not to save logs online, and nothing is
 kept.
 However, regardless of this, all conversations through Pidgin get saved as
 online logs, always.

 Request a feature in the Yahoo protocol plugin to allow or disallow saving
 of conversation logs online and a corresponding pref in the Pidgin GUI.
