 Did you check that all your accounts are selected to be active?
 Try the menu on the

 buddy list->accounts->manage accounts

 Or something similar (depending on your language) maybe CTRL+A will do,
 too.

 However, it's possible (or even likely) that this is solved by upgrading
 your pidgin version.
 Try the 2.10.1 or at least the 2.10.0 if the current version is not yet
 available for your OS.
