 I use Windows 7 English version, Czech locale settings.

 At first i spotted this odd behavior in version 2.7.6.
 I use in my pidgin with the XMPP protocol only. When I open the dialog
 with my party after roughly 20 sentences being written, the character "f"
 stops appearing after pressing "f" on keyboard. This happens systemwide so
 in all other applications in Windows the "f" doesn't work. The "F" with
 shift and other keyboard characters including accented characters work
 normally. It doesn't help to close the Pidgin. When I stop writing in
 Pidgin (while the Pidgin being still online) the normal behavior of "f"
 key resumes after a while. From 30 min to 2 hours. The reboot, of course,
 always helps.

 There is no other application in my installation to cause this.
