 First of all i uninstalled and reinstalled pidgin so i have the 2.7.9
 version. I am running it on centos 5. I had gchat working with pidgin till
 recently so I am not sure what changed... Here are my account parameters:
 Protocol: xmpp
 username: shaselai
 domain gmail.com
 password : my pass

 advanced and proxy i tried different variations but same results..

 I am not sure what happened because it worked fine before. I am also
 running AOL with pidgin and that worked fine (i turned it off during gchat
 connect). I can connect to gchat fine on igoogle page as well.... Any
 suggestions? thanks!
