#13323: Keep conversation open in Indicator Applet when Window is Closed

As an avid lover of simplicity in the desktop, I like to keep only the
windows I'm currently using open. So when I message someone on Pidgin, and
go back to my work, I close the window to reduce clutter in my taskbar.
This is also why I use the indicator applet, to keep messages from popping
up in my face.
Now, the problem is, when closing my conversation window, that
conversation is ended, and their names no longer show up in the indicator
applet. So if I wanted to pop in to send another message, I have to open
up pidgin, and find that person on my buddies list again.
What I'm proposing, is to have an option in Tools -> Preferences ->
Conversations, to have conversations remain in the indicator applet even
after you close the window, so you can click the applet, click their name,
and send them another message. Now in order to close the conversation
completely, I propose you would have to click Conversation -> Close in the
menu bar of the conversation.
It may not be for everybody, but I think this little optional adjustment
will be very helpful for many like me who prefer to keep things simple.
