 Our company uses pidgin, however all of our windows usernames are in fact
 our company emails exactly. When you sign up for a "Microsoft Live"
 account, you can choose to set any email address as the live account name.
 For example 1234 at sony.com can be the actual screen name for messenger.

  It seems that in one of your newer releases, now we cannot add them as a
 buddy because the message stated in this ticket. I thought id go around,
 download actual msn, add buddies there, and then login to pidgin and it
 will transfer over. But it is not working. In short we have a new employee
 today that we cannot add in pidgin, and after we go to normal msn and add
 her, we cannot see her with pidgin.
