 This bug has been reported to me by another Pidgin user. Apparently it may
 be isolated to Ubuntu builds. In this case, I am the one being shown as
 offline for him, and him for me. When he moved to Debian, I no longer
 appeared offline, and vise versa.

 The contact that I originally reported not seeing still does not show up
 as online.
