 Ideally I want to revamp how the handles are gotten via perl entirely so
 that they become automagic globals of a sort. So instead of needing to
 call the function (and travel into C) you just use
 Pidgin::Handle::Conversations (or some other suitably-named constant) and
 it Just Works and is cached on the perl side.
