Guys... this defect has NOT been fixed!

 I am a new user of Pidgin -- 1 week old :D . I have version 2.7.10 of
Pidgin, and am using Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

I am using Pidgin mostly for Yahoo! chatting. I rarely use it for MSN.

So... here's the problem. I am going to explain it again, from top to
 bottom.

In my Yahoo! contact list, I have two MSN contacts as well (as you may
know, Yahoo! also supports other protocols -- such as MSN, Google Talk,
 rocketmail, etcaetera, whatever :) ).

Since aproximately 20:00 (GMT+2), messages start to be received TWICE (on
Yahoo!). For example, there is this X contact (Yahoo! contact, in my
Yahoo! list). I chat with X for 2 hours... and after somewhen after 8
o'clock in the evening, messages from X are starting to be received twice.
For example, X says "hey" at 20:08:10, and after that, I see "X is
typing", and exactly 7 seconds later, at 20:08:17, I get that "hey"
message again. Note : X "was typing" "hey" just ONCE, and sent it just
ONCE. I just get it that "he was typing" and "hey" AGAIN, for a SECOND
TIME. Hell, it's like you turn back the clock 7 seconds, and you see him
typing that message for the first time. Hope you understand :D .

Then, from that point on, every single message comes doubled, EVERY TIME
 delayed by 7 seconds.

Now, assume there is this Y contact (MSN buddy, in my Yahoo! list). The
problem I described above does NOT occur here as well.

So, it is a Yahoo! - Yahoo! protocols related issue. And it has NOT been
fixed (dunno why you guys stopped this ticket/discussion).

So... any news? What is going on?! This is still un-resolved here. Why
 have you gave up?

Oh, and for what it matters... I am using a wired network (vDSL), up to 30
Mbps download and 6 Mbps upload. It comes in a Huawei HG655b router, which
routes it to 2 wired-PC`s and WLAN (unused) as well. I doubt that
 matters... but anyway.
