 We use XMPP internally through an asterisk server. I'm trying to get
 everyone to move away from Spark with its silent disconnects from the
 server and on to Pidgin.

 Passing links to local files is a very real requirement for this scenario
 - replacing this with file transfers is not.

 I also see this error and it's a showstopper!
