 A few weeks ago I cut and pasted something from a webpage into the chat
 window in Pidgin and hit send.  Not only did the person that I was sending
 it to not receive it but it stopped all future messages from going
 through.  The same thing happened today.  I logged off and logged back in
 and everything is functioning normally again.  All that I did was copy
 some text from a webpage to the chat window.
