Comment:

 I updated to 2.7.10 after I realized that my software was so out of date.
 I tested to see if I could get the same failure and wasn't able to
 replicate it in the new version.

 As a side note, it would be nice if there were some notification in the
 software when new versions were available.  I had NO idea that my version
 was so out of date until I saw the most recent version listed on the
 ticket submission page.
