New description:

 Version pidgin 2.7.9

 System: CentOS release 5.5 (Final)


 When I would click the close button on the buddy list, it would close the
 window but the icon would stay in the tray and I would still be logged in.
 So clicking the close button should actually be a"minimise to tray" but
 instead of minimizing its completly logging out.

 Although in preferences-> interface the "Show system tray icon:" is aleady
 set to "always"
