#13157: Problems with Bonjour and IPv6 on 2.7.9
----------------------+-----------------------------------------------------
Reporter: pottersys | Type: defect
  Status: new | Component: libpurple
 Version: 2.7.9 | Keywords: dnsquery, ipv6
----------------------+-----------------------------------------------------
I'm using Pidgin from PPA on Ubuntu 10.10 for amd64, and after configuring
the Bonjour ''account'', I can see all the buddies (using iChat); and they
can start conversations with me, but when I try to start one I've got
''Unable to send the message, the conversation couldn't be started.''

Checking the debug logs, it seems to be a problem with dnsquery. You can
check on purple-debug2.log that after querying for the IPv6 address it
returns a ''Address family for hostname not supported'' error. And when I
run ping6 over that IP, it returns OK
