 When I start pidgin 2.7.9, the icon is showed, yes, like usual. When I
 change the status to available, it connects to my accounts normally, but
 the status icon (in the notification area) stays offline, while the status
 from the buddy list shows me available (this is explained in the ticket
 #13149).

 Except this, all seems to work fine until I click the cross button to
 close the buddy list. At that moment, pidgin exits.

 This problem seems to be only under Linux (centos 5.5). I also installed
 this version under windows and there it works fine. Also the version 2.7.7
 works perfectly in the same conditions.
