 When I start Pidgin, aside from the usual IRC bot messages I'll get
 several MSN chat rooms opened.  Listed in the room is a seemingly random
 MSN buddy's alias, my hotmail address, and my own username.  There's no
 message submitted by the other user, the conversation window is just
 spammed with connection information, sometimes showing the other user
 leaving the room (but not always).  Said buddies claim to be unaware of
 these chat rooms.  As Pidgin remains running, more MSN chat rooms will
 open at random intervals, with the same behavior.

 This has occurred in all versions since the MSN certificate issue was
 fixed; this did not happen before or during whatever version had that
 issue.  I'm currently using version 2.7.9 for Windows on Windows 7 x64,
 and disabling plugins doesn't seem to fix the issue; I'm currently using
 the Purple Plugin Pack to use with IRC, which does not give me any issues.
 No other protocol has this issue.  My MSN buddies use a variety of
 clients; this happens to all of them.  I know at least one uses the MSN
 client, and another uses the Windows version of Pidgin as well.  I'm not
 computer illiterate, but I don't use Linux so if there's any information
 missing please let me know how to obtain it via Windows.
