 Likely the same as what I'm seeing here: when an MSN contact adds me to
 his list first, and then I add the contact, I cannot see the contact's
 status anymore when disconnecting and reconnecting to MSN, until I re-add
 the contact. Opening aMSN, shows the contact as an e-mail address book
 entry and not as a normal MSN contact. I have to re-add the contact in
 aMSN, to make it work permanently in pidgin. Bug is easy to reproduce: add
 a contact which has added you already, to your own list, disconnect and
 reconnect.
