 What you are talking about would actually take at least two plugins. One
 for the enhanced UI features and then one for the SIP backend.

 Since the UI stuff would be useful to most vv services, it might be able
 to be included in the default plugins someday. Total speculation, who
 knows.

 The point is, voice/video is not a core feature (yet), so they aren't
 going to change the whole UI for some bleeding-edge new-fangled bells and
 whistles, as nice as they might be.
