 I will try the modified QQ plug-in later today, but it sounds like
 something to keep an eye on. The QQ protocol doesn't really work great in
 Pidgin (not that I blame anyone); the source shows functionality which (I
 think) used to work but doesn't anymore.

 Unfortunately my Chinese isn't good, so thank you for informing me here.
