 My friend noticed some unusual behavior displaying statuses on his Android
 phone, a Samsung Galaxy S.

 He had Gmail open in his browser and Google chat on his phone as well;
 only the browser reported my status as online, though - his phone reported
 me as offline.

 However, when I opened Gmail in my own browser, then restarted Pidgin,
 both his phone and browser now showed my status as online. I should note
 than when I restarted Pidgin it also updated from 2.7.8 to 2.7.9, so that
 may be the source of the difference. I'm not sure if this is a Pidgin
 problem or not; even when I had just my Gmail in browser open, his phone
 saw me as offline. But I was wondering if there was any known strange
 behavior with Android phones recognizing Pidgin's status.
