 SToring all the individual files in Application Data\.purple\logs\jabber
 means thousands of individual files that the operating system needs to
 maintain, backup, etc.  It especially affects backup, having to look at
 all those files.

 Please consider a more efficient format to store those files, similar to
 what (say) Thunderbird does for email.  IT does not store one file per
 email.
