 Starting this morning, Jan 27, 2011, logging into facebook chat fails,
 then brings up the following error:

 obfuscated.user at chat.facebook.com/Horthy may require plaintext
 authentication over an unencrypted connection.  Allow this and continue
 authentication?

 If i select No, this error pops up regularly as pidgin reattempts to
 login. If yes, it throws an 'Unknown error' and doesn't reattempt.
