#14427: Setting group to "Show when offline" still applies to contacts later
removed from that group

You can right click on a group and select the "Hide when offline" option
to keep them in the contact list when offline. If, however, a contact in
that group is later removed from the group, they will retain the setting
to keep them shown when offline. Whilst this is not a bug in the usual
sense, it would be a good design improvement if settings applied to groups
apply to the groups themselves, instead of simply to any contact in it at
the time.
Another problem, of course, is that if you set that property for a group
and then add another contact to the group, they will not get the new
settings until you apply it to them specifically. It would be good if
groups could hold settings for themselves.
As an idea: perhaps contacts individually set to show when offline could
have a little tick next to the option in the right click menu, whilst
contacts in groups with the setting (but without it applied specifically
to them) could have a square, indicating that the setting is only a
condition of the group they're in and so will be changed back if they are
removed from it. No little icon just means they're not hidden, and a small
cross next to the option would mean that, despite the group having the
show setting applied, the individual contact has had it removed for them.
That icon system could be applied to other options which also can be
changed by right clicking on a group.
