 May I suggest seperating this into two tickets. These are two distinct
 issues and both very important.

 Personaly I think the fullscreen support is the more important issue since
 I think it is more common to video chat with fullscreen. Additionally the
 fullscreen should have support for picture-in-picture or just remote
 video, selectable by the user.

 I'll try to see if I can put it together but it will take me sometime to
 familiarize myself with the pidgin code.

 Just my two cents.
