 Only noticing this in 2.8.0

 Buddy icon worked in 2.7.11 and below.

 AIM protocal

 If I go to accounts edit account and select my buddy icon it creates the
 icon with a black background and it doesn't animate like it should.  If
 assign it as a custom buddy icon to myself or anyone else it animates
 fine.

 Clicking set buddy icon for all accounts next to the status selector seems
 to have no effect.
